Privacy Policy

How AvexBird collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Service.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AvexBird ("AvexBird", "we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the AvexBird web application, APIs and related services (the "Service"). It covers information about you as an account holder, and describes at a high level how information about your leads is handled when it passes through the Service on your behalf.

Where you use the Service to collect, store or contact leads, you (or your organisation) are the data controller for that lead data, and AvexBird acts as a data processor on your instructions. If you are a lead of one of our customers and have a question about your own data, please contact that business directly rather than AvexBird.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number and password, provided when you sign up.
  • Client and brand information: business and brand profile details you add to the Service.
  • Connected integration data: OAuth access tokens and the campaign, ad set, ad and account data we retrieve from platforms you connect, such as Meta Ads, Google Ads and Google Calendar.
  • Lead data: the name, email, phone number, form responses and source campaign details of leads generated through your connected ad accounts.
  • Billing information: subscription plan and billing history; card details are collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe, not by AvexBird.
  • AI feature inputs and outputs: prompts and content you submit to AI-assisted tools, and the drafts they generate.
  • Support communications: messages you send us through the Help Centre or by email.
  • Usage and device information: log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically as you use the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, maintain and secure the Service, including your account and connected integrations.
  • Sync and display campaign, ad and lead data from the platforms you connect.
  • Send SMS or calendar notifications you have configured, relating to your leads and campaigns.
  • Generate AI-assisted campaign plans, ad graphics and ad copy that you request.
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the Service, and keep it secure.
  • Meet our legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We share information with the following categories of third-party service providers, only as needed to provide the Service:

  • Meta and Google: to retrieve campaign, ad and lead data from ad accounts you connect, via their respective APIs.
  • Google Calendar: to sync campaign deadlines you choose to push to your calendar.
  • Stripe: to process subscription payments and manage billing.
  • Twilio: to deliver SMS notifications you configure.
  • OpenAI: to power AI-assisted campaign planning, ad graphics and ad copy generation.
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers: to host the Service and store data securely.

Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms and only for the purpose we've engaged them for. We do not sell your information or your leads' information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, integration and lead data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution needs. If you disconnect an integration, we stop syncing new data from it but may retain previously synced data until you delete it or close your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encryption in transit and access controls on connected integration tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly in your Settings, or contact us at contact@avexbird.com to exercise these rights. If you are a lead of one of our customers, please direct these requests to that business, as they control how your data is used.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar local storage technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as light or dark theme. We do not use these technologies for third-party advertising.

9. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred internationally.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
